Adventurous Blogger Award

We love starting off a new month with the news that a fellow blogger has nominated us for an award. This one is especially dear to our hearts as we consider ourselves travel adventurers, continuously seeking to explore new horizons. We were nominated by Reena whose blog LIFE is a journey! captures the essence of the adventurous spirit and makes us feel especially proud of the honor. So, we happily accept our nomination and present to you our answers to the 7 Adventurous Blogger questions:

1. In which country or region would you like your next adventure to be? We would love to explore Japan, a country that is rich in cultural complexity and modern technology.

2. Where would you recommend for an adventurous time? A safari in South Africa where you can experience the continent’s exotic wilderness.

3. Most interesting culture: India, a land and people who fully embrace color.

4. Favorite activityTraveling, of course. We love to explore places locally and globally and then share our experiences with as many people as possible.

5. Most dangerous risk taken: Venturing away from the familiar and safe path we were walking to seek the challenge of starting a business, Bespoke Traveler.

6. Favorite quotation: “Travel as you would live…beautifully.”

7. Happiness is: Enjoying the moment.

And now, here are our nominations for 12 bloggers who we feel follow the adventure in their lives:

Blissful Adventurer – a professional eater, story teller, and wine traveler

Tricia A. Mitchell – a writer, photographer, and world traveler

Santa Fe Travelers – a couple of travel experts who understand their city

Via Lucis Photography – photographers of an adventurous travel through the churches of Europe

The Lazy Travelers – a traveling duo who do so with a glass of wine in hand

Joshi Daniel Photography – a stunning portrait photographer

Sam and the Dunes – world travelers and connoisseurs of the good life

  1. Thanks for sharing. It looks like I’ll have some new friends there to check out.
It was a brave venture to start your business. It’s a great site. I hope it’s working out well for you. Best wishes.

    • Thanks for the continued support. It’s early days and things are looking up. Every new day brings us new opportunity and new friends. We love writing and we hope many will enjoy reading our ebooks and web articles. If you feel so inclined, tell a friend. Cheers.

  2. Thank you so much for nominating me – I’m flattered, and want to return the congratulations to you as well. It’s been fun following your adventures – such is the joy of the wonderfully supportive blogging community. Now, I’m looking forward to exploring a few new blogs too! 🙂

  3. Thanks a lot for the nomination and congratulations on your recognition 🙂 It is fun to read the other blogs too. I just returned from sailing around the Greek Islands, so hopefully there will be more fun photos to share soon. ~ Bridget

  4. Thank You very much. Well, I appreciate that You nominated me very highly. I am not so adventurous, but my blogs present things which in some cases unique.

    All my awards are here:

Last year I made a car trip holiday

    Beyond the Arctic Circle1

and my posts lasted 14 weeks. It was a real adventure, so I think.

Three posts were South of Arctic Circle. Here is one of the oddest things I found on my car holiday:

    Dancing scarecrows

Thank You once more. Happy blogging!

  5. Thanks for the nomination! I wouldn’t call us “adventurous” in a traditional sense. We like to drive down unmarked roads and see where they take us and we love exploring new cultures and places, but that’s the extent of our adventurousness. You won’t find us in class 5 rapids or sky-diving or repelling down a cliff-face-lol.

    • You’re very welcome. We love your blog and your travel stories always inspire us. Adventure to us is seeking new experiences no matter the level or extreme engagement [skydiving not required :)]. So cheers to you for exploring your world and making Santa Fe such an appealing destination.
